This 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge hardtop was delivered new to Trail Cadillac-Pontiac of Mobile, Alabama, finished in Polar White over blue vinyl upholstery, and refurbishment work in 2020 consisted of refinishing the body and reupholstering the cabin. It is powered by a 400ci Ram Air V8 mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track differential, and further equipment includes 15? Rally II wheels, a body-color Endura front bumper, Judge bodyside graphics, a Ram Air hood, a hood-mounted tachometer, an airfoil rear wing, power steering and brakes, a center console, a Formula-style steering wheel, and an AM radio. Acquired by the seller in 2021, this GTO Judge is now offered with PHS Automotive Services documentationΒ and aΒ Virginia title in the sellerβs name.
Finished from the factory in Polar White (10), the body was prepped and repainted during the refurbishment in 2020, per the seller. Exterior equipment includes a color-keyed Endura front bumper, black-textured grille inserts, a Ram Air hood, a hood-mounted tachometer, Judge side graphics, an airfoil rear wing, and quad exhaust outlets.
The 15? Rally II wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. The steering and front disc/rear drum brake systems areΒ power-assisted. Components for the suspension have been painted.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in blue vinyl and offer headrests, and faux woodgrain paneling joins engine-turned trim on the dashboard. Amenities include a padded dashboard, air conditioning, a center console, and an AM radio. The seller notes that the air conditioning only blows out of some of the vents.
The Formula-style steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer flanked by an analog clock and a combination gauge indicating engine temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. Aftermarket readouts for temperature and oil pressure are installed below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 62kΒ miles, approximately 650 of which were added under current ownership.
The 400ci Ram Air III V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, and it was factory rated at 366 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Refurbishment work noted by the seller included detailing the engine compartment and replacing a majority of the wiring harness.
