1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible β Steel Cavalry Pro Touring Build, LS3 V8, Tremec Six-Speed
A world-class pro-touring build from Steel Cavalry of Miami, this 1969 Camaro convertible was comprehensively restored in 2019 with a modern 6.2-liter LS3 V8, Tremec six-speed manual transmission, and full suspension and brake upgrades. Finished in metallic orange with black hockey stick stripes over a custom black leather and suede interior, it combines first-gen Camaro style with contemporary performance.
The drivetrain features an orange-finished intake manifold, Chevrolet-script coil covers, an ICT Billet serpentine system, and a DeWitts aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. A 10-bolt rear axle with a Yukon Gear 3.73:1 Positraction differential puts the power down, while coated headers feed a dual exhaust system.
Highlights include:
Staggered 19?/20? Vossen wheels with Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires
Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over drilled and slotted rotors
Ridetech four-link rear suspension, tubular control arms, and adjustable coilovers
Power RS-style concealed headlamps, LED lighting, and power-operated black soft top
Bolstered TMI bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, and billet shifter and steering wheel
Alpine touchscreen infotainment with backup camera and keyless ignition
AutoMeter instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and tachometer, with the digital odometer showing 1,400 miles β approximately 700 added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
