2005 Newell 450 Motorcoach

This 2005 Newell is a 45-foot luxury motorcoach with four slide-outs and a floor plan featuring a lounge, galley, dinette, bedroom, and en suite bathroom with a radius shower. Power comes from a 14.0-liter Detroit Diesel Series 60 turbodiesel inline-six rated at 500 horsepower and 1,650 lb-ft of torque, paired with an Allison 4000MH six-speed automatic transmission and a dually rear axle.

The exterior combines aluminum body panels with composite front and rear end caps in a green, beige, and brown finish. Equipment includes power awnings, Alcoa wheels, air-ride suspension, a tag axle, automatic leveling, air-actuated disc brakes with ABS, four roof-mounted air conditioners, solar panels, and a Power Tech diesel generator. Fading is visible on the slide-out roofs, and the front tires are reported to need replacement.

The interior features granite tile flooring, Corian countertops, laminate cabinetry, carpeting, power shades, and pocket doors. The lounge includes a leather-trimmed sofa and chair, theater system, recliner, booth dinette, and workstation. The galley is equipped with a panel-ready refrigerator and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and induction cooktop. The rear bedroom has an upholstered headboard, nightstands, ceiling fan, reading lights, flat-screen TV, and overhead speakers, while the bathroom features granite surfaces, a radius shower, gold-finished fixtures, and a concealed washer/dryer.

The coach is equipped with a pneumatic entry door, air-ride captain’s chair, passenger recliner, Kenwood audio components, Xenarc touchscreen, and multiple auxiliary controls. House systems include three lithium-ion batteries, Xantrex inverter/charger, Oasis hydronic heating, central vacuum, electric water heater, revised air compressors, replacement water pumps, and satellite/communications equipment. The odometer shows approximately 131,000 miles, with about 5,000 added under current ownership. Service has included replacement of the starter, radiator, intercooler, heater core, fuel line, and battery switch.
