This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback is powered by a rebuilt 289ci V8 paired with a C-4 three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Silver-Blue with GT-style equipment, the car features grille lights, side stripes, a rear valance with dual exhaust outlets, and 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
The chassis has been upgraded with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and power-assisted front disc brakes with a modern booster and master cylinder. Uniroyal tires are mounted on the Torq Thrust alloys.
Inside, the blue interior has been redone with blue-and-white Pony upholstery and Luxury-style trim, including a matching re-trimmed console. Air conditioning, a cassette head unit, and aftermarket speakers have been added, though neither the air conditioning nor audio system currently operates.
The 289ci V8 was rebuilt in 2022 following an oil pump failure and is equipped with a Holley carburetor, PerTronix ignition, and upgraded cooling components. The reset five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, with approximately 2,500 miles driven since the rebuild; total mileage is unknown.
